The heart of the U-MAX Medium Duty II is the reliable Yamaha built 357 cc 4-stroke gas engine. It produces a class leading 11.4 horsepower of work handling muscle. Muscle enough to handle the 500 pound payload capacity and 1000 pound tow capacity.*

Standard features include a tilting utility bed with folding tailgate, 22 inch all terrain tires, 12 volt DC power outlet, headlights, tail lights and a heavy duty tubular steel front bumper. Accessory Outlet The 12 volt DC power outlet is dash mounted for convenience. Armrest Large armrests on both the driver and passenger sides helps the occupants feel more comfortable and secure. Yamaha Body Panels The U-MAX front body is made of a custom formulated, color-matched thermoplastic olefin, painted with a two-part topcoat of high-luster, automotive-grade polyurethane. The rear body is made of Vacuum-formed ABS plastic coated with tough UV resistant Solarkote. Brake Pedal The U-MAX features a re-designed brake pedal with the parking brake located in the top-left corner. Bumper Yamaha's heavy duty front bumper is made of seamless tubular steel and is protected by a three step paint process which includes a full immersion phosphate treatment, electro-deposition exoxy based coating and an electrostatically applied polyester/urethane powder topcoat. Dash Panel The fully integrated dash boasts cup holders, a low oil warning light, and two large storage compartments. Easy-Grip Steering Wheel The thick, textured, easy-grip steering wheel features an integrated notepad clip and pencil holder. 357F™ Engine Yamaha engines work as hard as you do. Yamaha U-Max Seat The U-MAX Medium Duty II has comfortable and durable seat cushions made of supple, high-density foam, wrapped in seamless durable fabric-backed vinyl. The cushions are mated to a warp and moisture resistant polypropylene seat bottom. Trailer Hitch The standard 2 inch receiver accomodates a wide variety of accessories. Tires and Rims 22 inch all-terrain tires that are mounted to durable powder coated, gunmetal grey steel rims are standard equipment on the U-MAX Medium Duty II. Utility Dump Bed The tilting utility dump bed, made of tough Roto-Molded linear Polyethylene, is designed for durability and has side slots so you can add stakeside boards. Yamaha Frame Yamaha engineers have minimized welds to provide a seamless tubular ladder-style steel frame, providing optimum strength and rigidity. Yamaha frames are protected by a eighteen step paint process, which includes an anti-corrosive full immersion phosphate treatment, electro-deposition epoxy-base coating, and an electrostatically applied polyester/urethane powder topcoat.
