Yamaha U-MAX Medium Duty I Electric
Not only does the Yamaha U-Max Medium Duty I Utility Vehicle
carry a large payload, it also carries quite a reputation.
The latest in a long line of precision engineered utility
vehicles from Yamaha, the U-MAX sets the standard for others
to follow.
The U-MAX Medium Duty I electric has a powerful 48 volt
motor. The advanced 400 amp motor control unit features programmable
speed, regenerative braking (which feeds power back into
the batteries while controlling downhill speed) and roll
away protection.
Packed with other standard features like 4 wheel mechanical
drum brakes, a DC power outlet, headlights, tail lights,
and eight, 6 volt batteries for long range, the U-MAX is
not only a great vehicle, it's a great value.

Electric Motor
Yamaha’s whisper quiet 48-volt high-efficiency,
shunt-wound motor features an internal solid-state
tachometer and produces 3.8 horsepower.

Large armrests on both the driver and passenger
sides helps the occupants feel more comfortable

Body Panels
The U-MAX front body is made of a custom formulated, color-matched
thermoplastic olefin, painted with a two-part topcoat of high-luster,

The rear body is made of Vacuum-formed ABS plastic coated with tough

coating, and an electrostatically applied polyester/urethane powder topcoat. |
