Yamaha
recommends the use of Yamalube
oil in your Yamaha Motorcycle, ATV, Dirt Bikes, Motor
Scooters, and Waverunners
Like all four stroke off-road motorcyles the
gear box, clutch, and top end all share the same oil, and these
different areas all place specific demands on the oil, requiring
a high performance motorcycle only oil just like
Yamalube.
Do not, under any circumstances, use automotive oil in your motorcycle.
The slippery agents packaged in automotive oils will quickly contaminate
the clutch surfaces, ruining the plates and causing severe slippage
unlike Yamalube. If you must save a few pennies
on oil, shop the good aftermarket motorcycle oil manifacurers, and
choose one on price or buy in bulk. Don't
be cheap at the expense of your Yamaha save
money and buy Yamalube
in bulk.
